About the Role:

Located on the island of Mahé in the Seychelles, our Cap Ternay hub is set on the edge of the spectacular Baie Ternay Marine Park, and is backed by palm lined beaches on both sides. With incredible scenery both above and below the water, Cap Ternay is bustling with marine life of all kinds, with rays, turtles, and sharks all being frequent visitors to the various diving and snorkelling spots dotted through the park. About a 45 minute drive from Victoria and most of the major tourist hot spots, it's isolated location has made Cap Ternay a true diving gem.

We run marine conservation and diving programs at Cap Ternay and therefore the Program Manager's role at the hub is to oversee the effective day to day running of the program operations, as well as manage the staff and volunteers on base. Cap Ternay is one of GVI's longest running hubs and is constantly developing, so the Program Manager should have an interest in ongoing Project and Capacity Development as well as Community Engagement.
