I describe myself as a person who goes the extra mile and make things a lot more fun along the way. I would love a position as a Divemaster and help where I can! I am applying for the position to gain more experience and to improve my instructing, leading skills, and knowledge. In the future I would like to become an instructor.
I am a dedicated and responsible person who is always on the move. I love meeting knowledgeable people so I can learn and improve myself. My ability to plan, organize and prioritize work coupled up with problem solving and making decisions I am able to work under pressure, act quickly and stay calm under emergencies. I can adapt to new situations and I am very independent. As a competitive person I have a natural drive to preform and accomplish my goals. I completed my DM in Mozambique (2019). Based on this I understand diving not as a purely recreational activity but as a chance to study and therefore conserve the marine habitat. As a Divemaster I have the chance to share knowledge about marine life and inspire divers to appreciate the richness of marine life and treasure it. In 2020 I started working in Phu Quoc Vietnam for 2 months, where I did a coral propagation course. Due to Lockdown I had to return to South Africa and started Au pairing and tutoring. Through tutoring children with special needs, I developed skills such as practicing patience and paying attention to detail.
I am lucky to have dived in different locations. These locations have allowed me to dive in a variety of conditions and climates and given me experience in more challenging environments making me a confident and capable diver.
