Are you passionate about diving and ready to take your underwater adventures to the next level? Join Merlin Divers' Dive Guide / Divemaster Internship Program, an immersive 3-month experience designed to equip aspiring divers with the skills and knowledge needed to become certified Dive Guides or Divemasters.
Program Overview:
Our internship program offers a comprehensive curriculum covering all aspects of dive guiding and divemastering. Interns will receive hands-on training in customer service, dive planning, in-water supervision, equipment maintenance, and more. By the end of the program, successful candidates will have the experience and qualifications to work as Dive Guides and receive a valuable scuba diving jobs reference from Merlin Divers.
Qualifications:
To qualify for our Dive Guide / Divemaster Internship Program, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Competent Swimmer: Applicants should be confident swimmers comfortable in open water environments.
- Physical and Mental Fitness: Diving can be physically and mentally demanding, so candidates should be in good health and prepared for the challenges of the program.
- Basic English Communication Skills: While not mandatory, basic English communication skills are required to effectively communicate with instructors and guests.
- Sufficient Funds: Interns should have sufficient funds to cover living expenses in Phuket for the duration of the 3-month program.
