SSI Divemaster Internship

We are currently looking for some new team members!

We offer work-exchange Divemaster Internships which take you from your current level of diver through to Divemaster.

We have internships starting in June, October and February. The next internship is starting February 13th, 2023.

The Internship is unpaid, however in exchange for your hard work you will earn all your Dive courses including materials and certifications up to SSI Divemaster level, nationally accredited training certificates as well as plenty of logged dives, snorkel trips and whale watching tours (seasonal). We are looking for candidates who are hardworking, possess good problem solving ability, have experience in customer service, are able to financially support themselves throughout the internship and are able to work within a team environment. It would be favourable if you had a full manual driver’s license as well as language skills. Whilst training as a Divemaster you will become a valuable member of our team. You will learn valuable industry skills, explore the Julian Rocks Marine Reserve, encounter interesting people and accumulate many enjoyable memories.
