Role Overview:

As a Freediving Instructor at UnderwaterPro, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, safe, and enjoyable freediving courses to individuals of varying skill levels. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing freediving courses, assessing student abilities, prioritizing safety protocols, providing constructive feedback, overseeing equipment maintenance, promoting environmental awareness, and staying informed about the latest developments in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Freediving Courses: Plan and execute freediving courses, ensuring comprehensive instruction on safety, techniques, and equipment usage.
2. Assess Student Abilities: Evaluate skills and abilities, adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and experience levels.
3. Safety Oversight: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety briefings and drills.
4. Provide Feedback: Offer constructive feedback to help students improve technique, breath-holding capabilities, and overall performance.
5. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance and care of freediving equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
6. Promote Environmental Awareness: Educate students about marine life conservation and promote eco-friendly practices.
7. Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with developments in freediving, safety standards, and instructional techniques.

Qualifications:

• Certifications: Hold current certifications as a Freediving Instructor from recognized agencies (e.g., PADI Freediver Instructor Jobs, AIDA Instructor).
• Experience: Proven track record of teaching diverse groups of students as a Freediving Instructor.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for Freediving: Genuine passion for freediving, the ocean, and a commitment to sharing that passion with others.
• First Aid and CPR Certification: Current certifications in First Aid and CPR are required.
