Dive Instructor – Commercial Diving Jobs

Job Description:

Aqua Cat Cruises is seeking a Commercial Diving Jobs and Dive Instructor with prior liveaboard experience for our bustling liveaboard operation based out of Nassau, Bahamas. Our liveaboard conducts week-long scuba diving charters, providing an exciting opportunity for divers to explore the stunning underwater jobs world of the Bahamas.

Responsibilities:

1. Scuba Diving Instruction:
   • Conduct PADI dive courses and certifications for guests on board, ensuring a safe and enjoyable diving experience.
   • Teach the Nitrox Specialty course to interested divers.
2. Liveaboard Operations:
   • Assist with vessel operations, including dive deck management, equipment setup, and safety briefings.
   • Work closely with the dive team to coordinate dive schedules and logistics.
3. Guest Interaction:
   • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding diving activities or equipment.
   • Act as a knowledgeable guide, sharing insights about the local marine life and dive sites.
4. Safety and Compliance:
   • Adhere to all PADI standards and guidelines for safe diving practices.
   • Ensure compliance with Aqua Cat Cruises' safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• PADI Dive Instructor Certification: Must hold a current and valid PADI Dive Instructor certification.
• Liveaboard Experience: Prior experience working on a liveaboard dive vessel is highly preferred.
• Nitrox Specialty Certification: Ability to teach the Nitrox Specialty course to guests.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with guests and crew members.
• Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively as part of a dynamic dive team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for Scuba Diving: Enthusiasm for scuba diving and a genuine desire to share the beauty of the underwater world with others.
• Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to work and travel for extended periods aboard the liveaboard vessel.
